Captains Nick Graham and Aaron Graham grew up fishing the beautiful waters surrounding Anna Maria Island, from Tampa Bay to Sarasota Bay. I’ve tried other charters and this one was the best experience by far. 4 of us went for a half day and had a great time. Both guides, Nick and Aaron, were awesome. They were friendly and personable and made sure everyone was catching fish and having fun. They knew the waters and put us on some fish immediately, and were very patient helping us girls with casting and fighting fish. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
I’ve been fishing the waters around Anna Maria Island for almost 40 years. In that time I’ve probably hired a dozen or so different guides, some of which I’ve fished with several times. Captains Nick and Aaron are among the best I’ve been with. They’re very knowledgeable of the area, professional, friendly and easy to be around, and most importantly they know how to put you on fish. I’ve been out with them twice and something I really appreciate is if the bite gets slow they keep working to find the fish. I’ll definitely be taking them out again and would recommend them to anyone looking to have a great day on the water as these are the guys you want to fish with.
My husband and I went fishing with Graham Slam Fishing Charters on 2 occasions this past summer. Those guys are awesome! The first trip we told them we were interested in snook so that’s what we focused on, and they put us on some big ones as well as some nice redfish! The second trip we caught a few snook early but since they were out of season we asked if we could go after trout to have something to take home. We caught some of the largest trout I’ve ever seen until we were tired of catching them! It was one of the most memorable fishing experiences I’ve ever had. We’re thankful we found them and will be fishing with them again that’s for sure!
The best guide I’ve ever fished with! Capt Nick grew up nearby and knows exactly where the most productive spots are. He’s so familiar with everything it feels almost like you’re in his backyard. Top-notch experience, highly recommend!!!
We had such a great experience on our fishing trip. Nick and Aaron were always so helpful and extremely knowledgeable of the area. We’ve gone on a few trips with them and it’s always the highlight of our trip to the island. Perfect for all ages and would definitely recommend them to anyone visiting the area.
Both Captain Nick and Captain Aaron are great at what they do and make you feel very comfortable right from the moment you meet them at the dock. We did a full-day trip and the entire experience was fun from start to finish. We caught lots of fish and they both were very friendly, patient and helpful which made for a great day. If you wanna catch fish you choose the Grahams! They know all of the spots to go and will get fish on the line for you. First time my girlfriend and I used GrahamSlam and it will never be forgotten, we hooked up to all different kinds of fish and she even ended up catching a 31” snook!
Great fishing with a wildlife tour side benefit. Caught trout, shark, catfish, & snook. Saw dolphins just feet from the boat, jellyfish, stingrays, needlefish, numerous birds, mullet and a 5 ft cobia! Relaxing day on the water!
We had a fab time in the bay fishing. Nick looked after our every need for the trip . We caught our evening meal and my son hooked a couple of enormous sting rays. Thanks Nick and Aaron.
GREAT DAY ON THE WATER WITH CAPTAIN NICK. Captain Nick took myself and two friends out for a half day trip. We were on fish right away. Mangrove Snapper, and Mackerel at the first stop. Loved the Mackerel action. Nick kept up with the three of us. Retying hooks after the vicious hook ups with the mackerels. We then moved to another spot catching lots of speckled trout. Then to top the day off we targeted Snook. They seemed a little more elusive. Captain Nick was determined to get a Snook on. We did end up catching one at the end of our trip. I would highly recommend the Graham’s They are truly knowledgeable of the region, patient, fun to be with, and they want you to catch fish. Captain Nick cleaned our fish that we kept. We had a great fish dinner that night. Thank you for everything. I will definitely be back.
Nick provided my daughter, her boyfriend and myself with most enjoyable experience on a beautiful morning to mid-day fishing excursion in Tampa Bay. Not only did Nick provide constant attention to my amateurish fishing skills that included baiting the hook, replacing lost hooks and dehooking caught fish, he also ended the day by filleting the catch so they were ready for our evening meal at home. His knowledge for identifying fish species, their habits and breeding schedules and the Florida rules for retaining or returning a caught fish was unequivocal. However, the part of the day I enjoyed the most was experiencing the love he has for the Tampa Bay ecosystem and how effectively he advocates for maintaining its health. He motored us to different fishing sites that varied from the deposited rock formations near the Skyway bridge to the quiet inlets near Bradenton and Anna Maria Island just so we could appreciate the incredible variety of plant and sea life that this area has to offer. He is a reassuring example that my children’s generation will be more reliable stewards of our planet than their parents’s generation.
Captain Nick took us out on a chartered fishing trip last week on our Family Holiday. Wow, great experience and we all had a great time catching Sea Trout, Spanish mackerel, Snook, Red Snapper …. oh and let’s not forget the 50lb plus sting ray we hooked into. Nick was awesome and couldn’t recommend him highly enough. We can’t wait to go again on our next Family holiday to Anna Maria Island. #getslammed

On our “momcation” we stumbled across Captain Nick, who gave us the best experience! We originally just wanted to go for a quick boat ride to explore the sights around Anna Maria. This turned into dolphins swimming alongside our boat, cast and catch fish, scenic tours, catching a shark and a huge stingray. It was definitely one for the books! Us Iowa girls loved every minute. Went family fishing and Captain Nick was amazing and had alot of knowledge on where to fish! Our family had an amazing morning! We caught quite a few fish and we were able to keep some! We will definitely be back the next time we visit Anna Maria Island! Thank you again!

I arranged my second trip with Captain Nick in Early February 2019. He took my son(17), his grandfather(70’s), and me(55) out for a half day trip. He definitely will put you on fish. We had a great day catching Sheepshead, black drum. I would highly recommend Graham Slam Fishing with Captain Nick. He took great care of the three of us. Tying new hooks, baiting and removing fish. Nick Graham is the best fishing guide that I have ever been out with. I have been fishing for many years. He gets up early to net fresh bait for the day of fishing. Born and raised on the water where he takes his guests. I caught several enormous snook that we released. I highly recommend Nick for a day of good fishing.
AMAZING TRIP. We met Captain Nick on Anna Maria and he extended us his business card. I asked him if he was available that day for an excursion and he willfully accommodated our request for that day as it was our last full day before flying home. He sent us directions to the area where he would pick us up by boat. From there he took us out on the most amazing guided tour of Anna Maria and beyond. He gave us all sorts of nature guided info (which we love that kind of stuff) and took us to see dolphins too. Captain Nick shared so much knowledge with us and we felt as if we had known him for years. We felt safe and secure. He has spent his entire life in these waters and knows the area like the back of his hand. We can’t thank Captain Nick enough for making the remainder of our vacation memorable. We certainly will be back to enjoy Captain Nick’s guided excursion next spring break too and many more after that. Thanks Captain Nick!
We had a great trip with Captain Nick. He put us on lots of snook and a handful of keeper trout. This was my first time catching snook. We also caught a good size red fish. Captain Nick was laid back and personable, but still worked hard to put us on fish. He was good with my 11 year old nephew–who said it was the best fishing trip he had ever been on. If we make our way back to AMI we will be going back out with Nick and Graham Slam Fishing.
Had an awesome 1/2 day trip with Captain Nick. We called him up (and he answered) after another fishing charter canceled the day before the trip was scheduled. Nick took us out on wicked short notice. My wife and I had a blast pulling up over 30 fish or so. Highly recommended and we will call you guys again. Thanks sir.
GREAT FISHING THAT EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. My friend and I spent an awesome day on the water with Captain Nick. Nick is a very approachable and relaxed guide, and a total pro. Once we were on the water, we didn’t have to wait long to start catching fish. We caught snook, snapper, Spanish mackerel, and grouper, and filled up our fridge for days. Nick was a great guide, and was always there with the net or more bait when you needed it. He maximized our time on the water, and got us catching some nice fish. This was our first time in the area, and Nick gave us great recommendations on restaurants and worthwhile attractions to check out during our stay. I can’t wait to book with him again next time I’m in the area! Money well spent.

This fishing charter exceeded my expectations. Nick is a very friendly, easygoing guide. He has a lot of fishing experience and knows the area well. My friend and I caught a ton of fish – snook, Spanish mackerel, snapper, and grouper. Nick was patient and knowledgable. He answered all of our questions about the area, kept our hooks baited, and helped us land some big fish. This charter was the highlight of my weeklong vacation. I will absolutely book another charter with Nick next time I’m in the area!
We had a wonderful time on the water! Caught our limit of Spanish mackerel and caught a few snapper (whenever the bait made it past the mackerel). Highly recommend this charter. The captain was very friendly and put us on fish. I will definitely be back in the near future.
Capt Nick knows the area well and is very knowledgeable about the wildlife. He will work hard to get you on the fish. When one area slowed up, he was quick to motor on to the next stop. Never a dull moment. Also, he is super friendly and is able to coach you into being a better fisherman. My husband, 2 teens and I had a great day. We caught and released several snook and caught enough trout and flounder for 3 dinners.
EXCELLENT DAY WITH CAPTAIN NICK. We went out with Nick last Wednesday and it was a great day on the water and money well spent! Three of us were in our 30’s and 40’s and we had a 10 year old and an 8 year old with and we all caught lots of fish and he had us on them immediately. Sea Trout and Snook were the main focus of our day on the water but we also caught a variety of other species including a flounder that tasted amazing. Captain Nick was very personable and everyone on our trip with him had a great time. I’ve been on fishing charters in the past but this was the best experience I’ve had. When we return to Anna Maria Island we’ll be looking him up again for sure! Be sure to book your trip with them soon!
Graham Slam Fishing was the best fishing experience that we’ve ever had! Captain Nick was extremely fun to spend our charter with and was knowledgeable of the waters and where to catch fish! We targeted trout and snook on our trip, and caught SO many more than we ever expected… but also caught other fish too! Extremely enjoyable time and couldn’t put into words how thoughtful he was in helping my fiancé and I celebrate our recent engagement. 10/10 recommend him for your next fishing trip!
Nick was our Captain for the day.. Extremely knowledgeable of the waters, bait and fishing in that area.. Very personable and made my 11yr olds day. Rates are very reasonable and highly recommend Captain Nick for a charter if your in the Anna Maria Island area.. We will book again when back in AMI

BEST EXPERIENCE, PERIOD!!! This trip was BY FAR the best fishing charter we have ever done, and we have done many!! Captain Nick was awesome, very fun, laid back, and made our trip unforgettable. We targeted trout and snook on our trip, caught so many of them, plus more. He even prepared our trout for us and we enjoyed it as an awesome dinner at Waterfront restaurant. We will be back!!! GOOD CHARTER FOR BOTH EXPERIENCED AND NOVICE FISHERMEN. Captain Nick Graham is native to Anna Maria Island and knows the waters and where to find the fish. He moved us to several areas to find specific species of fish. We caught fish nonstop and kept what was in the photo. It was about 30% of the total catch for our group of 4. Nick will clean and filet your fish and then recommended the Waterfront restaurant which will cook your fresh catch. A great experience for both the dads and the young teens.
My family and I have gone on numerous fishing charters with both Captain Nick and Captain Aaron and have always had terrific experiences. I would recommend them to families, friends, or anyone looking to get out on the water to catch some fish and see some wildlife.

Captain Nick was very responsive and knowledgeable. We had a great day catching 20+ snook. When the tides changed we moved to where the action was at. We will use his service again in the future and would recommend to beginners as well as experienced, seasoned anglers.

ENJOYABLE FISHING TRIP, LEARNED A LOT AND NICK WAS A GREAT CAPTAIN AND GUIDE. Great fishing experience with my son, we learned a lot from Nick and caught many varieties of fish including; Mackerel, Needle fish, Snapper, Trout, Puffer and Lady fish.
